THE ROOM 5 TOTEM POLES ARE NEARLY READY TO BE DISPLAYED. HERE THEY ARE STANDING TALL. JUST THE FINAL TOUCHES TO BE ADDED AND THEN WE WILL SHARE THEM AT ASSEMBLY.
Carole is a part of our Room 5 family. We are lucky to have her popping in a couple of times a week to help out and join in with our learning. Thanks Carole for giving up your time to come and help us make the most of our time at school!
This month Room 5 celebrated 1000 views and Room 6 celebrated 2000 views on their learning blogs. We celebrated this together by creating the' Clyde Cafe' in Room 6. We all got to have hot chocolate and tasty chocolate cake on a frosty cold day.
This morning we shared our toys from home . We used the 'talking lips' and 'listening ears'. The headbands reminded us of the role we were taking in the conversation. Some of us got to share our friends new with the rest of the class later.
In Room 5 we drew what food we ate for breakfast. Then we sorted our breakfast into different groups. First by how we ate breakfast and then if our breakfast was served in a bowl or on a plate.
These photos show how we grouped our breakfast by if it included milk or butter. And then if breakfast was served hot or cold. We talked about the information that our sorted breakfast showed us. We used language like 'the most', 'the least', 'more or less'
Thank you to everybody who has taken the time to view our learning blog over the last year. Special thanks to those of you who have left a comment for us to read.
