Jubilee Celebrations

Here at Clyde we celebrated our Schools Jubilee over Labour Weekend. We all got dressed up on Friday in outfits that children and teachers wore to school in 1863 ( the year Clyde School opened) Mr White looked funny dressed up in his batman costume!! We are so proud of Kaiyo who cut the jubliee cake with Mr Des Paulin a former Clyde School pupil.

Caterpillar Planters.

With the warmer weather the Room 5 children have been developing 'green thumbs'. We have been learning about how things grow and the role we all have in helping our plants grow strong and healthy. Today we planted out our caterpillar planters with a wild flower seed mix.

Save the Kiwi Week

We read the story 'How the Kiwi lost his wings' by Alwyn Owens. Here we are acting out the story using drama ( pretending to be someone or something else)
